The consular district of the Consulate General covers Auckland, Waikato and Northland, among which Auckland is the largest city of New Zealand, and serves as the center of trade, science and technology, education and an important international aviation hub. Auckland is also a gateway for China-New Zealand cooperation.

The year 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and New Zealand. The bilateral relations are now carrying forward the past achievements and gaining new momentum. Our consular district is facing new opportunities for closer exchanges and cooperation with China. I am honored to be the 10th Chinese Consul General in Auckland. My colleagues and I will work with friends from all walks of life in the consular district to promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields including economy, trade, culture and people-to-people exchange. We will spare no effort to promote the steady and sound development of China-New Zealand comprehensive strategic partnership so as to bring benefits to our two countries and peoples. We will continue to uphold the people-centered philosophy of development and serve the people through diplomacy. We will provide quality and efficient consular services for Chinese citizens, and join hands with overseas Chinese to realize the Chinese dream,and promote further development of China-New Zealand friendship.
