In order to further facilitate business exchanges in the Asia-Pacific region, the Chinese Government has decided to allow people holding valid virtual APEC Business Travel Cards (ABTC) to enter China starting from May 1, 2023.

Before 1 May 2023, virtual ABTC holders still need to apply for a visa to visit China. During the period, the Consulate-General of P.R.C. in Auckland will facilitate those applications. For more information, please contact the Consulate-General of P.R.C. in Auckland.
