On February 26, 2010, Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo held talks with Israeli Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Strategic Affairs Moshe Ya'alon at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.
Dai spoke highly of the stable and sound development of China-Israel relationship since the establishment of diplomatic ties, saying that to consolidate and develop the existing friendly cooperation is the common goal shared by the two countries. Ya'alon praised the development of Israel-China relations since the two countries forged diplomatic ties 18 years ago, saying Israel would continue to enhance exchanges and cooperation with China in various fields and push forward bilateral ties.
Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern.
